Will any modifications be required for these to work properly? Even after lowering the car with Eibachs? I am thinking about the Carlsson 1/6 Evo from the tirerack.

I doubt they would fit. ESPECIALLY since the car has been lowered. Good luck.

They will fit once you have the fenders rolled and you have not slammed the car on the ground. The E55 AMG has 18" all around but the fenders are rolled while at AMG.

The Carlsson 1/6 Evo will fit without any problems or need to roll fender lip as long as you use a 235/40-18 tire size
