Big tires
I was driving downtown in Toronto today and a Lamborgini Diablo stopped next to me at University and Wellington. The tires were 335 35R17. I was too stunned by the tire size to look for the brand but those were some big old tires.

I believe the Dodge Viper has been running that size ( Michelin ) for years.
Last time I asked the tireman what they are worth, he told me about $ 600.00 CDN ............each.

315/35/17s on an E55
I remember reading one of those German translated to English articles where a tuner (forget which one) had a flared fender kit on the E55 AMG. They had 315/35/17s on the back, and 245/45/17s up front.
Lets say it looked sick, and even though all the E55 has suspension tuning and the body work and a rear diff change and the thing hooked up quicker then the Alpina M5 and pulled some great numbers. I guess it proves with the power...the rubber is a must.
