I thought I had my winter tire choice made...crap!
I thought I knew what I was going to do this fall. I had made up my mind to get the new Nokian Hakka 2 and have them studded. With my forays into the Rockies in the winter and lots of icy city roads, I want a good studded tire.
However, the Kuhmo folks have thrown a wrench into the works. I have read some very favourable reviews of the KW-11, and in one review actually ranked them ahead of the Hakka's! It's also a studdable tire, so meets that requirement. Anyone have any experience on the Kuhmo?

I see that Nokian has just annouced the Hakka 4, with square, cushioned studs. Not sure if they are, or when they will be, available in North America.
