FS: 94 E320 W124 Wagon in Tampa Bay, FL

Bought this car last summer with plans of totally restoring it, but just haven't had the time to finish and don't forsee things changing anytime soon. . .time to pass it on to someone who can get the job done!!! As it sits this is a fantastic W124 and has been my daily driver. It runs & drives beautifully and will only improve with a little TLC from the next owner. . .

1994 E320 Wagon, W124/M104
~203k miles - registered, by me, as 250km high-miler with Mercedes Classic Center, includes badge/folio/etc.
Teal Blue Metallic w/ Mushroom Leather
located in St. Petersburg, FL
$3995

* ~2k miles since COMPLETE cylinder head refresh
* zero throttle actuator/harness issues
* transmission shifts very well, quick into reverse, no flaring/hard shifts/etc.
* receipts for ~$3k in parts since I bought it in June 2013 - many spares/new parts still need to be installed!!!
* shiny paint, rust-free GA/FL body w/ history/records
* clean interior, several typical W124 issues recently addressed/trim/etc.
* ice-cold A/C, system leak free
* sunroof/power antenna/vacuum interlock/hatch struts/windshield wash/wipe/window regulators all functioning normally

There are, of course, a few other issues that need to be addressed. The front shocks are at the end of their life and have a bit of "float" over bumps. Shock mounts have cracks, left side tie-rod has some slop. I was planning to address all of this in one big sweep - suspension is otherwise excellent. There is at least one intermittently sticking/leaking fuel injector as there is an occasional long crank/stumble that clears up immediately - I have a full set of used injectors I'd planned to have re-built. Someone replaced the ignition lock cylinder with one that doesn't match the key for the rest of the car - new cylinder needs to be ordered from MB/keyed to the car/VIN so that once again a single key operates everything. The EGR valve's membrane is toast & I haven't found a good source for a new one - the EGR pipe is clean, just need to find a good valve & re-enable the EGR system. The secondary air pump is noisy. The B-pillar trim covers/seatbelt surrounds and center armrest cover/lid are both currently being re-done by my trim shop, will be done & in the vehicle before I sell. I have several other little things that I haven't gotten around to yet - a citric acid flush (MB) + new coolant to put in the system, some MB transmission fluid + a new trans pan/gasket, several other little things I can't think of. . .

Yes, indeed a beauty. Is the VIN anywhere close to xxxxF287635 (mine)?

Hmmm... could have a weekday wagon, and one for the weekend right?

Hah!!! She is a looker, not a color for everyone, but if you dig it, you probably REALLY dig it. I'd originally confused the color with one of the other buh-jillion similar blues/greens the W124 came in. I don't believe I've ever seen another Teal Blue Metallic in person.

94Wagonmeister - I think this is an excellent plan. Come on down & drive her home!!!

Gorgeous car, I have Beryl Blue '92 300D, one of my favorite colors. I want to buy your wagon, but cannot justify it to myself... yet!

Good luck with the sale.

There were so many blues and greens on the w124!!! The TBM is different from the Beryl, but I have a soft spot for all the "cool" colors. . .

The price won't be anywhere near the $2ks, joegolden. I've got $5500 + my time into this car and would sooner part it out than take a $3000 loss on owning a car for ~6mos. . That said, tax time approaches and I have two friends in line to snag the car with their tax returns if I haven't found a buyer by then. . .

See I've heard people call Beryl, Teal-Green Metallic. My car is Paint Code 888 which a lot of online charts call 888 teal blue (beryl) (beryll).

They may be one and the same. The bottom half of your car is Lago Blue I think. When I had my car painted I had it done in all 888 like some of the mono-tone '95s in other colors.

Bringing this zombie back from the dead. . .LONG story, co-worked that really wanted the car ended up taking it w/o my permission & its taken this whole time to get the car back. Had to get the police involved & only then did the car come home via flatbed, minus its keys!

SO - the car is once again for sale. Sorted a few more little things since the original post. No more intermittent long crank, coolant flush has been performed w/ MB blue coolant, several little trim pieces including the center arm rest/cover & b-pillar trims have been re-covered by my trim shop (excellent work!)

Come & take a drive!!!

The same. But for $4500 I'll put a pair of brand new MXV4s on the front axle, install the new LF tie rod & align it. . .up to the next owner!!!
