We have a 190E 2.6 5 speed sportline that was my father's. Purchased in late 1990s, garaged most of life and well cared for by MB Dealer and Autodynamics of Gaithersburg, MD. Car has 138k mile. It has sat for a few years but still starts and runs. New battery. Clean MD title.

Yes, I and the vehicles are real and have been posting for quite awhile. Both cars have sat for a few years after my father passed away. I need to have them sold and removed by next week for my mom who is moving to a retirement community.

Just got off the phone with Chris talking about both this and the SLC he’s selling.

The 190E sounds like a really solid, foundational car with minimal issues based on his description. If I was local I would snap it up in a heartbeat. Most of the concerns he discussed were minor ones in my mind, making this a great candidate for a “driving restoration” sort of car. The Sportline suspension option coupled with the five speed will no doubt have this car moving down the road rather briskly while being able to pass many gas stations.

Good luck with the sale, Chris. This car deserves to go to an enthusiast who will give it a second life and enjoy it, no doubt as much (or more) than your Dad did.
