plastic trim between tailgate window & side window cracked
Maybe it was the cold weather, but this long, narrow ( 2 inches or so) piece of plastic ( I don't think it is glass) between the tailgate window & the passenger side rear window just cracked. Does anyone know how to remove & replace it? Think the dealer will take care of this as a goodwill? Thanks.

plastic window moulding
This is common problem. You can always try to see if the dealer would "goodwill" a fix. If not, I'm told that it is just pulled off and installed with some kind of thick glue used for setting windows. Mine are "warped". Please post how much the parts cost when you find out.

Homer, what is under this small panel-sheet metal, plastic or what? Will I do any damage if rain gets into the crack in mine? Thanks.

There is metal under the cover. Not quite sure how much parts are (the glue kit is $$ if i remember correctly). Labor should only be about .7 hr each side. You need to cut the glue with a windshield tool ("rope saw") to remove the defective piece. They are pretty easy to do. It depends on your dealer, but they I would doubt that they would goodwill it since it is just cosmetic, but never hurts to ask.
