removing door panel on 02 ml?

when i tried pulling the door panel off, i removed the two door handle screws, removed the sail panel, and got all of the fasteners off, but it was still stuck on at where the door lock pin thing sticks out. Does anyone know if i am missing any screws or anything?

trim removal

After removing all of the fasteners, the trim lifts "up" from the window edge.

it feels like something is sticking, as if there is some kind of adhesive. I don't want to take it off and end up having something rattling bc of this.
