Torsion Bar Cracking Noise is BACK.....
 
So it's been 9 months since they last replaced the shims on the torsion bars to alleviate the cracking noise and now it's back with a vengeance....

Anyone know of a remedy that I can recommend to the dealer? (no, lubing won't work)

Not familiar with this, where are there shims on the torsion bar springs?

Dealer removed torsion bars and found they were VERY rusty.
Removed all the rust, sanded it down, packed it with grease, put it back it with new shims and noise is gone

Where was the rust located?

Did they list the amount of time required to perform this job?

unfortunately i don't know...i simply dropped it off
