An interesting testimonial for my ML320

Yesterday, heading south from Tucson at 84mph and a truck dumped a very large peice of metal...not sure what it was but it was big.... 5' cube???

It took up residence smack in the middle of my lane (left) and I had no room on the right due to traffic. Took the ML off the road onto the dirt shoulder without slowing down. Ya know, the silly vehicle didn't even know it was no longer on pavement...not a wobble, nothing. Almost boring except that my wife was dead silent. Back up onto the road without a murmur and looked in my mirror to see cars all over the road and off the shoulder.

I don't think my 560SL would have been very happy with the detour but the ML just took it in stride. These turcks may have some maintenance issues, but at this point I really don't give a damn. I would buy another just on that experience.
