00 ML 430 changing plugs at 59K

Hello,

I have a 00 ML 430 with 59K. This car appears to not have a lot of pick up for 8 cylinder with 268 HP. I am thinking that I may need to replace the spark plugs. I have replaced the MAF sensor due to my CEL coming on.
What do you think?

Plugs

One of the first things you should always check when you have a performance problem at idle or running speeds is the spark plugs! After all, they are creating power with their activity and if they are fouled or otherwise impaired or the wiring harness is faulty, you will inevitably get poor results.

changing the plugs

If they haven't been changed by now then they are past due anyway.

After 4 years it will need an air filter, fuel filter and spark plugs.
brake fluid flush every 2 years
coolant flush every 3 years.

Might as well do the required maintenance and see how it all feels afterwards. My car felt better and it even firmed up a slightly spongy brake pedal.

Yes, and put a spring in my step, cleared up my acne and made me popular with the girls!
I would recommend replacing the plugs and any of this other recommended maintenance if it hasn't been done yet. I'd use the MB recommended plugs. It can make it feel alot more powerful.
Be aware of the potential that you need the updated fuel filter though, if your is original.
Are you using high octane gas?

Yes, I do use 93 octane gas.
