Courtesy Light
 

When I open the rear passenger side door the courtesy lights do not come on, but when using any other door they do.

I did not see a door switch on casual examination. What am I missing here?

I wondered about that too. There are two microwitches built into the handle latch assembly, one is for the security system, the other for courtesy lights?

Try just lifting the handle on a door you know works. See if the lights come on even before you open the door. that should confirm the switch is in the latch assy.
