Need help! 98 ML320 stalls at stop light every day
I have a 98 ML320. Just replaced the AMM and truck seems to stall at the exact same place every day on the way to work. Have to wait a few minutes in order to restart the vehicle. Any reason for this and any fix? Let me know, anyone.
Thanks- Chris Warner, Lt, USAF AC130 Pilot |

have you done a serch for crank position sensor? that is pretty common on the 112 engine

That, and maybe have the codes pulled to verify that the mass airflow sensor isn't crapping out on you; could be that the sensor is at the limits of its adaptation, and you're catching it at the point in its warm-up cycle that it has a tendency to die when coming to a stop. BTW, Kudo's on the piloting abilities; I hear the AC130 Spectre gunship is probably the most feared out of all the weapons in the US arsenal.

Turned out to be a Crank Position Sensor (silly me, wonder where I learned about that lol). Still trying to get everything else working on this thing haha. Thanks for the props (get it, props haha). Take care everyone.
