Question about EPA/emissions warranty and O2 sensor on 00 ML320

Recently our 00 ML320 check engine light came on so we took it to Autozone to have the codes read. The computer said that there was a fault at both O2 sensors on bank 1 side (pre and post cat). The truck has 71k miles on it and after reading the 8 yr / 80K EPA warranty I'm wondering if the replacement of the O2 sensors should/will be covered by the warranty?

TIA

Cool

The covered 8/80k items are listed in the warranty manual. That list shouild include the catalyst/intake manifold/exhaust manifolds/ & fuel ECU. SENSORS aren't covered!

O2 sensors are on the list, i checked on my way to work this morning. I was just wondering if it will be covered even if our state doesn't do emissions testing. I don't know whether the bad sensors would cause it to fail emssions testing or anything like that. We have noticed a decrease in fuel economy lately.

If the O2 sensors have failed and are covered under warrentee.

Who cares what the state law is-MB should replace them. It is critical to replace them BEFORE they kill the PRECAT and CAT.

After reading the fine print it says that the sensors are good for 2 yr / 24k miles
