Corrosion Warr. / touch up paint
 

Does anyone know what the corrosion warranty is on a 1999 ml 430? I am getting some paint bubbling up from rust underneath in a strange place--the fuel door itself (not the body where any possible fuel drips would attack the paint).

Also, does anyone know a good place to get SPRAY touch up paint? Wife had an incident that scrapped the paint off the door protector, and wanted to fix it.

No one has any info on this?

It is the same as your vehicle warranty, i.e. 4 yr 50k miles.

Never seen the ML touchup in a spray.......just the sticks w/brush.

I did a repaint of the inner fender where the battery rests using acrylic enamel and a Preval sprayer. Worked great.......

AutoColor is a great outfit that can set you up with the enamel/reducer/hardener/preval sprayer. Should be able to get a quart with all the accessories for about $50.00-$75.00. They also have a good selection of Meguiars, so I rarely get out of there with just what I came for !

I have had good results with Tower paint, in the midwest.You give them a paint code and they send you a spray can (worked well on bumpers and mirror housings) they have a web page.
