Are you buying it or selling it? Is the engine a replacement engine? I am not sure if there was a turbo diesel stock in that model.

So what is a fair price? Turbo'd or NA, my guess is that turbo'd would get the 5000lb mass moving a little faster regardless if they came that way from Graz.

A fair price is whatever you are willing to pay that the seller is willing to accept.

Sorry guys I am in a "Hurricane disater area" My internet is up and down!!

I am looking to buy one. I found one right down the road from my parents house. I has been sitting in his garage for awhile. For a 1985 300gd LWB turbo diesel G-wagen, with leather seats, A/C, tropical top, brush gaurd, winch, and no rust!!, I was told the value of the Truck is about 15k-16k. Does this sound about right to you??

Possibly a bit high, but prices on the older W460 series seem to be holding their value better than the newer W463's.

Sitting in a garage is not necessarily good, unless it was run once in a while to lubricate things.

As far as I know he does drive it every now and then. In fact it was at the gas station running when I talked to him about it. I have not heard from him since I talked to him, I am begining to wonder whether or not he thought i was serious????
