Broken sliding dust cover in A/T shifter console

My sliding dust cover that is in the shifter console on my 1998 ML320 broke last week after a cell phone charger cord became lodged between it and the index plate. The dust cover just pushes all the way back and doesn't move with the shift lever anymore. Does anybody have a breakdown showing what I need, and the MB part number(s)? Also, has anybody went that far into the console? I took the knob off, and the black plastic escutcheon surrounding the index plate, but didn't dig any farther into the console without knowing how it came apart.
