99 ML 320 Tranf Fluid Capacity
Thanks. Am I to assume that 8.5 is good and If I drained and dropped the pan that only .5 is left in converter? Also, I do not have a dip stick.

There is an allen head screw you can remove to drain converter, at least there is on my 1999 ml 320.
I measured the total amount of fluid I removed, including; torque converter, and what was in the pan when I removed it. I put in precisely the same amount I removed and I recall it being exactly what the owners manual listed as the total capacity. I measured the fluid I removed and what I refilled at the same temperature. |
7.3 quarts will fill a completely drained unit, including torque converter, 4 will cover just the pan
