Catalytic converter for 2000 ML320
 

Can anybody tell me why I'm unable to get a catalytic converter for my SUV? It's been on order for a month and there is no information on when it will be available. My car sounds worse than a garbage truck and is running worse all the time. Is there something I can do temporarily to stop the noise and make it run better?

Have you been to a dealer???? there is a RECALL on those converters!

Yes, I've been to the dealer, but they can't get the part and they have no idea when it will come in. My SUV may sound like a garbage truck for a long time.

Apparently, there is a major problem with the ML320 cc. There are 40,00 on order in the U.S. I called Benz US about it and they said they would expedite shipment to me. I had it 3 days later. My car now sounds great.
