Tire wear

This is my first post but have been an avid reader. I am not sure how to proceed with the following problem...My 2002 ML320 has 26,000miles, still under warrantee, has been serviced by the book through my local MB dealer and has the original tires on. I have noticed the front passenger tire now almost worn within 1-2mm to the horizonatal indicator track while the other tires have atleast 5-7mm. The tire seems to be worn on the outside more. The dealer has rotated them twice. What should I do next and what should I say when I bring the tire into the shop? Or should I replace it with a new tire? Any thoughts are appreciated. thanks!

I would rarely replace ONLY 1 tire...at least both of the tires on either the front or the rear.

OF course on ANY car with traction system make sure the "taller" tires are on the rear or you will have traction system problems.

MAKE sure that the ride height is checked and adjusted & alignment is done correctly.
