ML brakes - floating caliper
Hi,
My '99 ML 320 is slowly ready for a new set of pads, after 57k miles. No dash light yet, but I think it's time anyway. I happen to have floating calipers, and so far I found only DIY guidance on fixed caliper brakes. Anybody had done floating calipers and can share procedure, please? Or better, WIS # for the floaters is AR 42.10-P-0160GH. Is this one out there? :book: :book: |
Try this link...
Search on this forum, or try the following link. The link has a variety of comments by folks that have performed a DIY for brakes on what appear to be both fixed and floating calipers. If you go about two/thirds down the page on the attached link, the WIS instructions are also included for both fixed and floating calipers. Hope this helps.

Thank you so much, Acmathis.
