ML 430 Brake Caliper - can I use this??

I have called many of the online parts places that say they have the part and when I give them my VIN they say that the part they have will not work. My VIN start with A170. Can I successfully use these parts anyway? Is there any real practical difference between the parts? I only need one and can't afford to buy dealer parts - especially since they only will sell the part in a pair.

Help!!!

Has anyone found a source for the caliper rebuild kit itself?
