does any know the battery used for the ML key.

My battery on my 2000 ml key ran out. I took the key apart. The battery type or number is not listed on the old battery.

Don't want to go to the dealer. They are big $$$$. Can any help by providing me with the battery number like CR2016 ect and the voltage. Thanks.

And would any know if they are the same for the 2003 G500s

The battery is available at Wal-Mart in the coin sized batteries in the battery section. I don't remember the number but its the only one they sell that is the same diameter and thickness. We replace the battery in both keys at least once a year for good measure. The procedure to synchronize it with your AAM is in the manual - one caveat - your driver door MUST be CLOSED when you do the procedure or the code doesn't take. I found this out the hard way after fooling with it for 30 minutes.

If you do it quickly you wont have to re-sync
