ml320- 1qt oil use at 250miles

I was on a 340mi trip the other day and i lost 1 qt of oil at about 250 mi into the trip, then after refilling 1 qt on my return, the light came on again and show another qt loss.

there is NO LEAK whatsoever. I know there was an issue earlier with this as bypass, its not burning it as I have no indication of smoke or residue on the rear end.

Its a 2000 ml320 with 82k miles. What can I do that doesnt cost a ton and will the dealer still honor anything regarding this issue?

Thanks,

Thanks,

Your truck has a ten year, 150,000 mile warranty on the engine due to the lawsuit and settlement for oil sludge etc. If you have a decent dealer in your area they should run the oil consumption test on your truck at no charge and possibly fix the problem on Mercedes' nickel. Sadly though, not all Mercedes dealers are created equal. Good luck. My 2 cents.
