Do the aux fans run? Is fuse # 44 good?

Hi, Fuse no. 44 is good. I have noticed that the aux fans do not run when I start the AC and the AC does not blow cold air, but I can see the AC clutch running. The aux fans starts after a long time sometimes by itself or by switching the AC button off & on a few times. I have also noticed that when the Aux fan starts, the AC starts blowing cold air. Also while driving the car there are various instances when the AC starts blowing hot/normal air & then again I have to switching the AC button off for a few seconds (keeping the air fan/blower running) & then turn it on to start cooling.

Connecting a set of gauges & checking the basic a/c system for correct pressures would be a good idea.

Does the low pressure line(large diameter) get cold?

If it does possibly the problem is related to the blend air door NOT closing.

That system doesn't use a heater valve. Would the system get cold if you blocked off(clamped) one of the heater hoses?
