Digital Clock LED Backlight Out

The digital clock backlight on the dash of my ML 430 is out and could not tell the time. Clock itself works but since the backlight is out everything looks black unless you look real close. Is there a way to replace just the twist-on/twist-off bulb behing the instrument cluster? Or do I need to remove the whole cluster just to replace the bulb. If the cluster must come out, is there anyone who could provide instruction in removing the cluster? Appreciate any help.

To replace that bulb you must remove the complete cluster. Isuggest that you replace the 3 bulbs behind each of the LCD,s

Thanks, M.B. Doc, that's is a very sound advise. I'll make sure I'll replace all three bulb in the digital displays in the cluster.

Thanks to AZINN, too, for pointing me to the right website with the instructions on the removal and installation of the cluster. Hopefully, I'll get my password from p o i n t e d t h r e e soon so I could start with the work.

Really can't find a better place for help than mercedesshop.
