ML320, SUV shifts when changing 4th to 5th

First time posting.
I've been lurking and reading and absorbing.
My car is currently in the shop due the lack of power, limp mode, check engine light. I read the codes and it is mifires on multiple cylinders and individual cylinders (P0300, P0301, P0302, P0304, and P0306) I haven't heard back from the shop yet, but I think its the CATS as I heard some rattling at the front passenger area.

Anyhoot, the reason I'm posting is because during hard accleration on my ML-320 like when you are entering the highway, when the vehicle is shifting from 4th to 5th, does anyone noticed that the entire vehicle shifts from left to right. I mean it shifts about 1 to 2 feet and you need to correct it with the steering wheel or else you are on the shoulder or the other lane. With soft accleration, the shifting is not as pronounced but you can still feel it.

At first, I thought it was the tires which was worn out. I replaced with new tires and the shifting is actually worst. The tires I got were Grabbers.

Is this caused by a bad drive shaft that needs to be replaced? Or bad tire design. :confused:
