ML320 - Door wont Lock

On my ML 320, the front passenger door wont Lock. When you lock it , it just unlock it's self - any idea what I can do to resolve this?

The 98 or so ML had bad locks, the spring was too strong and as the mechanism pulled it down it went back up, it was more of a ratcheting. They can check the body computer to get ideas, sometimes it is a bad microswitch that confirms it being locked.

Probably the door latch assembly , famous for micro switch issues.
Thay will replace it with a new one and charge you way too much labor for electrical testing, reading and erasing codes.

I normally pop one in for $150.00 plus parts.
