oil cooler

what does it do.... how much does it run, and how long does it take to install... thanks!---ml 430 ---2000

the ML already has transmission oil cooling routed to the radiator, no need to install one, same for the power steering. What are you trying to cool?

Do you mean engine oil cooler, in that case, its an indispensable item for turbo engines with oil cooled pistons.

this is a small oil cooler near the power steering pump.... it has fins on it.... just trying to find a cheap place to purchase it.... and how to install... it's leaking oil all over the engine....

The cooler itself is probably OK. The O-rings are most likely at fault.

yeah that's right. but where i am i can't find a mechanic to jsut fix the rings- they want to replace it.... it's probably faster and easier....
