Window stuck down 99 ML320

So I'm having a problem with my 99 ML320, and I was wondering if any of you have encountered it.

Basically the drivers side window rolls down, but it doesn't roll up. On some occasions when it is extremely hot outside I can get it to roll back up(it's winter though, so that's not going to happen). Also I can't hear the motor when I try to roll it up.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, I'm more interested in getting it rolled up that fixing the problem completely.

Thanks a lot.

It's usually a bad window switch assembly

Do a search for "ML320 window switch" and you'll find everything you ever wanted to know.

Here's how to search:

I have used the repair three times with satisfaction each time. Eventually it will be a good idea to replace the switch assembly.
