Spark plug wires

Where do you guys buy your spark plug wires? I have a '99 ML430 and am looking to pick up an OEM set. Thanks.

if you navigate to their site and look at the wires by sight and by name they are definately not OEM as the original poster was requesting. i have seen several issues with misfire codes when non OE wires are used. only place i know of would be the dealer, kinda hard for some to swallow since they are around $45.00 each last time i looked, and 16 are needed! $720.00 plus tax for wires seems excessive

Beru wiries are NOT OE on that application...Still good but not OE

Bosch are OE...their NUMBER for a set is 09-848

Bosch individual wires is 0 356 912 948

Funny...I just had the guys at http://www.germanstar.net/430mlm.htm tell me that Karlyn is OEM for the ML plug wires, not Bosch.

FWIW. OEM might not be that great considering all the problems with the ML.

be advised all the wires are not the same part number since they are different lengths, see info below for mercedes part numbers and quantity. for the ML 430 there are 4 types

the wires are not specific to the ML, i have seen original mercedes Bosch wires with over 100K and are ok, the aftermarkets i have encountered were usually new and the cause of the misfire i was looking into

go to mercedes and ask to see one, then you will know the truth, all that i have installed from mercedes were Bosch
