ml320 1998 back door wont open

can some one help I have ml320 1998, I just had it paint and they remove the door panels,when they put everything back on the truck the back doors wont open from the out side with the remote, I can only open them thru the front doors. once i lock the truck i have to do it all over again to open the back door. thank you
