Unhappy Need help with ML430!!!

Hey guys,

I've been plagued with problems with my 99 ML430. I've had it for under a year and already had to change the tranny transfer case (car wouldnt get out of 2nd gear, which apparently is a common thing) let alone the many "minor" electrical problems.

So finally last week my truck wouldn't start. I brought it into a mechanics shop and they concluded it is my factory alarm. They said that they plugged it into their computer and it said it was a problem with the key. All 3 keys won't start the vehicle, when they delete the error codes the truck starts again, but a few hours later same problem occurs. They've tried reprogramming the keys with no luck.

This is my primary car so I would like to get this fixed asap and apparently a replacement alarm module is probably weeks away. I was curious whether anyone knows where I might be able to find one of these alarm modules rather than go to the Mercedes "stealership".

Thanks,
C.
