SRS light on
Hey, the other day my SRS light came on. It came on for no aparent reason .
I have scanned the codes and it came out that the "The ignition circuit with the component R12/11 (Left rear side airbag ignition squib) has resistance too low". CODE B1869-006 Can anyone make any sense out of this, is it just time to replace the rear door airbag or is there another way out? I drive a 2000 ml320. thanks in advance. |
There is a bulletin on that code relating to the connection at the door bag.
Most likely just a loose connection, MB suggests a retainer for that plug. |
Where can I read more about it?
|
I can look up the bulletin for you and summarize it for you.

Do those sensors typically go off when the air bags' "use by" date passes? I only recently realized that they had expiration dates.
