1999 ML320 locking mechanism malfunction

Hi all, I’m having some problems with my 1999 ML320 rear passenger door lock. When we start to drive all the doors lock but that door doesn’t fully lock so it keeps resetting all the locks every time we start to go. I took it apart once to lubricate it but it was a one piece assembly if I remember correctly. It does lock if you push the little rod down manually. Any suggestions on how to fix the problem??

Thanks,

There was a service bulletin about replacing locks that "ratchedd", of course that means nothing now. It had to do with the spring too stiff, and the motor shutting off early. They replaced all mine twice, and then conluded the tail gate was not latching telling the system to re-lock.
I got rid of mine (99) after a year, locks, fuel pump, seat belt, alarm issues.
It is not the easiest lock to get out because you have to drill out rivets to move the regulator out of the way.
