Snow Plow for Mercedes G Wagon (need help)

Hey Guys,

I know a few people wont agree with what I am doing but I plan on putting lightweight plows on my 1990 230GE and 1988 300GD to do some commercial work.

I was talking to a Benz mechanic who said these are awesome for snow clearing but of course I cant find brackets for my G unless I fabricate some.

Does anyone else use their G for Snow plowing and if so do you have any tips or suggestions.

Thanks

Why wouldn't someone agree with this? I say "use them the way they were designed." They were designed to be industrial strength working off road rigs, not strip mall cruisers. Go for it.

Schmidt Engineering makes a lot of plow attachments for Unimog and others. You might try contacting them to find out if they make something to go between your GWagon and its plow.
