Evaporator Temp sensor location

Hi,

Can anyone tell me where the "evaporator temperature sensor" is located on a
2001 ML320?

I need to spray some disinfectant thru there as was described in another thread
on this forum to cure a foul smelling AC system, but I don't know where the
sensor is located. Its location wasn't mentioned in the original thread.

Thanks in advance.

Dave

On the ML's that sensor is INSIDE the evaporator case.

Best way to spray disinfectant into the A/C system is thru the blower motor intake OR remove the microfilter and spray there.

Microfilter?

Hi M.B. Doc,

Thanks much for the response. I'm planning on replacing the cabin air
filter while I'm disinfecting. I didn't know there was a "microfilter"
that you mentioned. Could you please tell me where it is? Should
it be replaced also?

Thanks,
Dave
