need ASR (automatic wheel slip control) location for 99 ML320

Can some one help me locate the ASR unit in my 99 ML320? I am replacing brake fluid and need to bleed the ASR reservoir

You don't need to do that, with the key off the valves are all open.
The control unit is integrated into the ABS hydraulic unit.

ASR location

Thank you for your reply. I found a box under the coolant reservoir with 6 hydraulic lines, two come from master cylinder and no bleeder valve on that uni. I guess that is the ASR for my ML320. Do I just flush brake fluid as usual? Do I need to turn on the engine to fill the ASR reservoir?

Hmmm, can you post a picture? The ABS hydraulic unit IIRC is in the engine bay, drivers side front, behind the radiator support.
Yes just bleed the brakes like normal.

Please review the attached picture, the one behind two hoses has 6 hydraulic lines attached to it but no bleeder valve. Could it be the ASR unit?

I have to plead ignorance. It's been 5 yrs since I worked on MBs, but I would have sworn the ABS pump did it all. At any rate I am sure you can just power bleed the brakes like normal.
