Can you adjust the gas lock motor.
hello,
I just replaced my gas lock motor unit. The motor unit that control the pin to lock the gas door. It is the correct gas lock unit. The problem is that there does not seem to be a sensor (or anything like that) in the motor unit itself to control the length of strock of the pin. When I lock and unlock the car which lock and unlock the gas door, I get a lot of scratching sound. I am sure that is because the motor is still going when the pin have reach the end of its travel (the pin can not advance or retract any more). This is not because I did not install the motor unit correctely in the car (this happens even when the mortor unit is not install in the car). I also install the motor unit in the unlock position when the gas door is suppose to be in the unlock position. I am thinking the solution is to adjust the travel of the motor to lock the gas door. can anyone help. thanks
