Collado de la Quesera, 29 November 2008
We were there yesterday... gorgeous, amazing, gobsmacking!....
We crossed La Quesera without a problem (there wasn't too much snow) but after having lunch in Riaza, Segovia we went back to Wadi-al-Hajara (وادي الحجارة) and drove like 70 miles of beautiful snowy tracks... we ended up on a hill near Cantalojas, beaten by a powerful snow drift while the night fell upon us... we lost the track within so much snow and it took us 3 hours to find our way down the very steep banks of the hill to Cantalojas.... Most pictures are already in their relevant album: http://picasaweb.google.com/mortinson3/Quesera http://lh3.ggpht.com/_ljSJcirY-Mg/ST...agen%20102.jpg The are some beautiful ones missing, made while the sun was coming down so do please return later and they will all be there!
