Low Range - Blink!
 

Hello every one!

I'm a new member and would like to get some help from the expert on ML. The problem I have is, when I start my 99ML 320 the Low Range light blink about 5 or 6 time and it go away. Not sure what's the problem. Can anyone help please and I would appreciate very much. :confused:

Most likely an issue with the transfer case motor position sensor.

Try operating the HI/LOW switch back & forth several (many) times for a couple of days & see if the problem goes away.

Isnt it supposed to blink 18 times? No matter.

Do what MB DOC says, but make sure you have the vehicle in neutral and your foot is on the brake first.

If this still does not work, you have a faulty transfer case positioner motor.
