ml 350 battery light blinking HELP PLEASE

can anyone tell me why is this i had jumpstart my other car using my ml 350 and now my battery light is on at times it blinks but still on can anyone tell me what is wrong i check my belt and its good and my connection is good with my battery............ help me please....anyone
