ML500 wiper won't quit

Hello All,
My 03 ML 500 front wiper doesn't want to turn off even at the off position. Please help. Thanks

That's a little hard to diagnose without some testing. The ML did have a problem with the "all activity module" these caused multiple electrical malfunctions. If you are getting consistant power to the the motor with the switch turned off, the switch probably failed.

I jumped the gun a bit too fast. We just bought this ML last month and my wife is not quite familiar with the car. She did not turn off the wiper properly. She pushed the lever it to the lowest position thinking that was the 'off' position. After I went back home and took a look and noticed it was not turned off. The 'off' postion is in the middle. After I pushed it back up one notch it turned off. Thanks very much.
