My ml320 damaged in accident

my 2002 was involved in a nice crash over $7,ooo in damage now the insurance company is wanting to use all used parts is this right....especially the mechanicals.I wont go into details because of pending legals issues but the driver of my vehicle said it would not stop when brakes slammed hard....Also I have been having the lockout issue prior to the crash any suggestions welcome.

I had that battle with the insurance company of the guy who hit me. They wanted to install used parts and I held firm. If the damage is $7000, they should total it. I think book on the car is $8000-$10000. Personally, I would have them total it and be done with it.

The parts that were damaged in the accident were used parts.

If everyone gets new parts rates go up and you pay for them anyway.
