oil leak lsft side of the engine

I have a 98 ml 320 with 155,000 miles. There is an oil leak on the left front side of the engine . I replaced the valve cover gasket and resealed the "breather" on the valve cover. I don't add oil between changes but it is a mess in the drive way. Does thie engine have a sickness for leaking oil on the left front side of the engine? Any ideas where to start ?

Most common leak is a small metal cover located on the front engine cover.

Doc, do you have a pic or diagram of the cover? Just would like to know for future reference.
