2000 ML320 instrument cluster lamp identification
 

Hi guys!!!

I have a 2000 ML320 that runs great, zero complaints.....I'm actually impressed with this vehicle!

I have a lamp activated on my instrument cluster of which I have no idea of what it is indicatiing!

It is located just to the left, right next to the seat belt warning lamp, it's RED and has a symbol that makes absolutely no sense to me.

Does anyone know what this warning lamp is indicatiing and the possible causes for its activation???

Thank you in advance, generally I search the archives and find the info that I need, but this time I cannot locate anything concerning this particular warning lamp........Of course, I don't know what it's called, so I suspect that may have helped! :-)

WOW!!!!........I feel really STUPID!.....The light is for the steering wheel lock and activates when the steering wheel adjuster is unlocked.......It appears that my wife accidentally hit it when she was cleaning the vehicle's interior!!!
