ML320 obd2 code generic P0422
 

I have a generic code in the scanner of P0422 on a 2001 ML320 it also says main catalyst efficiency below threshold (bank 1) Freeze Frame Data (fuel system 1 CL) (fuel system 2 CL) (calc load % 29.8) (etc 179) (sift B1(%)-1.5) (lift B1 (%) 2.3) (sift B2 (%) -4.6) (lift B2 (%) 6.2) (MAP (inH9 13.5) (eng rpm 2050) (MPH 53) Is this telling me I need to replace the cataylitic converter or is their something else i should check first. 2001 ML320

That code is for the right side catalyst. 99.99% of the time the catalyst is to blame.
