1999 ML430 ATF change--ATF hot or cool?
Should ATF be changed hot or cool?
Some instructions for changing ATF say to first bring the transmission fluid to operating temperature. Other instructions say to change ATF while it's cool. Forgetting that a 1999ML 430 was never intended to need a change, which is the correct way--hot or cool? Thank you--Jim
