R320 CID Brakes
Have an '08 R320 diesel that will shortly need brake pads. Haven't measured the rotors yet so i don't know if they will need to be changed. MB rotors seems to be made of soft material so i am guessing they will need to be replaced. When i bought the car (CPO model) it had 16,000 miles on it and they had put new pads on it. It now has 38,000 and the front pads are rapidly disappering. Anyone have any recomendations for pads and rotors.

The best aftermarket brake discs are Zimmermann. Other than that stick with OE!

The key is to use the brakes as rarely as possible. Braking wears out the pads and makes the front wheels black. I use the downshift paddles as often as I can.
