merc ml320 1999 petrol

starts first time but cuts out after about ten mins and won't start for about 20 mins!!

Starts first time but cuts out after approx. 10 minutes and won't start again for approx. 20 minutes- been doing this for the last 3 weeks- help! Please!

Most likely the crankshaft position sensor.
