ML320 Noise Problem
My Ml320 makes a slight (boink boink) noise I belive from the left fromt at very low speeds. The dealership, which I have found to be fairly incompentent, hears the noise as well, said they checked for any safety issues, checked the brakes, the wheels, and found nothing. They said they spent 4 hours looking for the probem and that it only occured when turning right. I laughed and told them that it mostly occurs when I am in my driveway (hence the low speed) and that it is perfectly straight for over 1/2 mile and that is when I hear it. They said that nothing could be done until the problem became more audible. Has anyone else encoutered this problem? The noise is audible from about 5-10 mph. Just hoping that someone out there might have encountered this as well or would be able to come up with a list of things I could ask the dealership if they performed. Thanks

One crazy idea - could the front right spring have dirt where it sits in it's cradle? Try lubing the cradle in which the spring fits - it could be a "boing" as the spring turns in the cradle and hangs causing it to jump as it twists.
